well...what have we been doing lately???

...LOST finale (complain all you want, i liked it)
...photo shoots and lots of editing
...a 1 night vacation in oceanside with hubby
...dyed my hair a little more red
...bonfire with shakefaces & smores
...my nephew turned 6
...my bro-in-law & family are going to be our neighbors soon (we can walk there!)
...lots of new music spinning around my head
...baby showers, 3 this month!
...scrubbed out the fridge! haha

i guess i wish i could join this band. and also i should probably be mj for halloween. i just need to grow out my bangs in the fall.

1965

i miss my 1965 plymouth valiant convertible!!
new cars just don't feel right with me.
found these old film photos of her from 2001.

memories...
+ in high school some boys went out to the parking lot,
got in my car (it didn't lock) and used the push button transmission to put it into neutral,
and moved it across the parking lot. it took me awhile to find it after school.
+ keeping the top down all the time except for rainy days
+ having a messy pixie cut and appreciating the windblown hair styling
+ the suicide knob on the steering wheel
+ driving down harbor and my engine caught on fire!
+ listening to the blue album on cassette
+ fishtailing on the freeway, coming to a stop, and then getting out to retrieve my hubcap
+ trying to put the convertible top up by myself, i had to stand up on the back seat to do it
+ a gas gauge that didn't work (i just had to guess)
