  6. Jen Jen, So, my gear has gotten a little complex. Since the light in Japan is not the best this time of year, I've been relying on a lot of flash. Especially since I've also been shooting at night quite a bit, since a lot of us work into the evening hours.
I'm finally starting to get it down, and getting my set ups pretty organized. So here's all my gear:
Shooting on a Nikon d40 (basic of most basic camera's. . . I'm getting ready to upgrade.)
55-200mm Nikkor VR 3.5-5.6 lens, though I also ocassionally bust out the wide angle 18-55.
Then I have 2 Vivitar strobes that I fire off camera using Cactus Radio Slaves. They make life soooo much easier. I shoot one strobe generally with an umbrella, and I often with use the second one raw with varying gels to get more interesting highlights.
It all fits in a carry on suitcase, so it's not been too bad to carry around.
Okay, hope you enjoyed that little novel, there!
    Miss you!
