do you use a banana stand?
they are supposed to help let your bananas ripen naturally.
i also just think they are fun!
i had a hard time finding a banana stand that wasn't ugly.
this one was decent and i knew i could easily paint it.
mixed some green paints together to get a pretty green color...

MATERIALS:
1) wooden banana stand like this one
2) primer or sandpaper (optional)
3) acrylic paint and paintbrush
4) screwdriver to take apart stand (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) take apart your banana stand by removing any visible screws
2) sand it down with sandpaper or coat it with primer,
if the surface seems smooth or glossy.
3) paint each piece and let dry thoroughly.
apply a second coat if needed.
4) put it back together and admire your simple little project!
