tonight was so fun. i got to hang out with an awesome friend and after a quick trip to the grocery store we made some homemade asian lettuce wraps and talked photography. and we baked!!!

Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt in small bowl. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, egg and molasses until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes approximately 4 1/2 dozen cookies.

the babies documentary

when i watched this trailer with will online, he asked me if i was going to put it on my blog. i said...yes. anyway i mentioned this movie in this post so i thought i'd follow up now that the trailer is available online (when i first looked it up a few months ago, all i could find was forums where people were talking about how there was no info online about it). the movie comes out in april. will said "i can't wait to watch you watch this movie" haha.

watch the trailer HERE

mongolia + japan + namibia + california. love it.
and love the song in the trailer too. sufjan stevens???
a few of my favorite screen shots from the trailer.

as much as i am obsessed with japan, i am kinda loving the little mongolian baby the best.
